The core of the Dallas Videofest redesign campaign revolves around the elemental essence of video: RGB. These three colors form the pixelated fabric, breathing life into every narrative on screen. Infused with a nostalgic glitch effect, this identity imbues familiarity and wit, embodying the spirit of a film festival. The glitch effect pays homage to the quirky artifacts of 80s TV, adding a touch of retro charm.
The once-solo white mascot undergoes a transformative journey, evolving into a dynamic creative team. Each member is assigned a specific task and color — red, green, and blue. Just as films emerge from the collaboration of diverse artists, the team shares a common goal: to make a profound impact on their audience.
